Sheri, her sister Denise and I were next door neighbors when were were all in 2nd through 4th grade. She was my best friend, and if she had not moved away, I tend to think we might have become more than friends. Watching her drive away when she moved was a very sad day for me. I would really like to get in contact with her to find out how she is doing...

(aka "Marty", "Moose") I met Marty in sixth grade in Duarte, California. We both ended up being both computer and music lovers, which was the bond that kept us friends for a very long time. We had a falling out a few years ago, which has fortunately ended, though now we live on opposite sides of the country. Marty watched a little too much MTV while growing up, and had a bad habit of driving without so much as a permit, not to mention insurance.

(aka "Dhampir") John and I met in sixth grade, and became friends who enjoyed both comic collecting and computers. We even put together some rough ideas for "R&M Comics Group" at one point. His dad "Bob" is quite a character as well. I used to really get annoyed with his family's habit of "resting" after "strenuous" activities... like going to the beach (that would require John to rest the entire next day by order of his parents). But he did get to ingest large quantities of cereal at will, I remember. Visit his website

Michael and I were great friends back in high school. We both had a love of music and computers that gave us a great bond as "buds". He was the best man at my wedding. We've lost contact over the years (I was married, he went to seminary and then moved on) but I still cherish the memories of the fun and crazy things we cooked up.

(aka "Bright Eyes") Jerilynn was the first young lady I truly felt love for (despite a years long infatuation with a certain hispanic girl from another school!). We never did any serious dating, and ended up marrying other people. I hold her in the highest regard for a variety of reasons - to this very day. Time can only tell what may happen to us both, separately and/or collectively.

(aka "Mike") I worked at a Macintosh dealership for a short time, and met Michael and his girlfriend (now wife) Kimberly while there. He got into playing Tradewars and other games on Orbiter Online pretty heavily. They now have a bunch of kids like me and are good friends of the family. We play racquetball on rare occasions, and he supplies me with financial advice and services.

Mark used to run a local BBS named Compuquest in the Daytona Beach, Florida area. That system, along with a few others, was where I spent most of my online time in the early nineties. He has since moved on from working with me at Cunningham Research to being a local missionary, and has two children with his wife, Christina. Visit his website

(aka "Coyote Woman") Joan and I worked at I-CARE together (that's "Independent Child Abuse Relief Enterprises", which later added the title "Children's Advocacy Center" to the name) for five years before I moved on to Cunningham Research. She was the financial backing for Orbiter Online to be able to start up. We had one too many chinese lunches together, and we had a tradition of me taking her to see the latest Star Trek movie on her birthday, until she moved away to be with her son during her retirement.

(aka "Fred", "Kenwood", "Fredwick", "LqdEngineer") Fred is a highly intelligent guy that I encountered during his high school years when he signed up on Orbiter Online ("back when it was cool" as he would put it). He created a website called "AtomicMonkeyClan.Com" that I hosted, and then later other sites, with "Fredwick.Com" and "DaytonaWAN.Com" being his current pet projects. He tends to be full of himself (and I've absorbed a bit of that unfortunately, I think) but he's still a great guy to know. He lives with his wife Amanda. He is currently working on gathering a lifetime of knowledge comparable to my own. Visit his website

(aka "SanFranNo1Fan") Somehow, Keith has been designated (by me apparently?) as my "redneck twin". He is intelligent -- came to work in my DP Department with almost no computer experience to speak of, and is now relied upon quite a bit. I greatly appreciate his effort at work and his friendship when we have the time to actually "be friends" (since work is usually when we see each other).

My friend David came to my department at Cunningham Research and has slowly become a friend instead of just a co-worker. He currently lives on the west coast of Florida with his girlfriend, Takako.
